Hollywood Burbank Airport

Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest and United all fly out of the Burbank Airport, with nonstop service to major cities across the country. The train station is across the street, making it a 10-minute walk from the platform to the terminal.

Train to Plane

Cross Empire Avenue and follow the signs to the covered walkway.

Plane to Train

Follow the signs to the trains using the elevated walkway, and cross Empire Avenue to reach the train platform.


Los Angeles International Airport

The Los Angeles International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, with 87.5 million passengers passing through in 2018, and service to countless destinations. The FlyAway® Bus provides nonstop service between the airport and Union Station, making it possible to catch a flight without having to drive. A one-way trip costs $9.75, and tickets are available online.

Train to Plane

Follow signs in the tunnel to the Transit Plaza and locate Bus Bay 9. The FlyAway® buses arrive every 30 minutes during peak hours. An average trip between the train station and airport takes 35 minutes, but travel times vary due to traffic conditions. Upon arriving at LAX, the buses stop at each terminal.

Plane to Train

Walk to the Lower/Arrivals Level and look for the green "FlyAway® Bus" signs. Each bus is marked with its service location – board the "Union Station" bus to get back to the train station.


San Diego International Airport

The San Diego International Airport is the busiest single-runway airport in the country, with 500 daily flights to destinations across the globe. Since the airport is located adjacent to the downtown area, it's easy to get to by train with a quick shuttle connection.

Train to Plane

From the station, walk to the corner of Broadway and Kettner (near Starbucks), and board MTS Route 992. The exact change one-way fare is $2.25. This bus runs every 15-30 minutes, and the trip takes approximately 10 minutes.

Plane to Train

Follow the signs to the bus stops outside Terminals 1 and 2, and catch MTS Route 992 to Downtown. Alternatively, walk to the bus stop at North Harbor Dr. and Harbor Island Dr. to catch MTS Route 923 to the station. The exact change one-way fare for either is $2.25.
