Only bicycles that are specifically designed to fold up into a compact assembly are accepted, and must be folded up before boarding the train. They may be stored in the luggage storage areas at the end of the train car, not in the overhead racks.

Bikes weighing up to 50 pounds that are no larger than 70" x 41" x 8.5" may be brought on board with a reservation. There is a maximum tire width of 2”. Larger bikes, such as tandem, trike, and recumbent bikes, will not fit in the bike racks and therefore can’t be brought on board.
