  1. West Beach (very accessible and great for kids) (0.3 miles from station)
    This stunning beach is close to the station and features a kids playground, a pool, public art, and viewing plazas.
  2. Cabrillo Bike Path (0.4 miles from station)
    The Cabrillo path is 4.5 miles in length connecting multiple beaches in the area.
  3. The Channel Islands National Park (1.0 mile from station)
    This park features lighthouses, camp sites, and outdoor picnicking spots.
  4. Leadbetter Beach (1.1 miles from station)
    Located near the Santa Barbara Harbor and Shoreline park, this beach offers a restaurant as well as places to picnic. 
  5. Shoreline Park (1.5 miles from station)
    Attractions include reservable picnic areas, a stairway to the beach, whale watching area, playgrounds for kids, and large grassy areas.
  6. La Mesa Park (2.4 miles from station)
    Some great aspects of this park include a short ocean view walk, playground, and reservable picnic areas.
  7. Arroyo Burro Beach Park (3.5 miles from station)
    This beach is known as “Hendry’s Beach” and features beautiful bluff views, and lots of activities like swimming, surfing, and paddle boarding. It also has free beach wheelchairs to make the beach more accessible.
  8. Inspiration Point (4.6 miles from station)
    This trail features beautiful beaches and views for you to experience during your hike. 
  9. Summerland Beach (5.9 miles from station)
    This beach is located within Lookout Park which features grills, picnic tables, outdoor games, a playground and more.

The Santa Barbara Amtrak train station is located at 209 State Street in central Santa Barbara. It serves as a hub for travelers and commuters with access from multiple train lines and everything Santa Barbara has to offer, including beaches, parks, hotels, restaurants and museums.
